How we repair your windshield

We follow GlasWeld’s recommended repair methods, adapting the work to the damage we find.

1. Inspect and prepare. We assess the damage, explain the expected result, and prepare the area for repair.
2. Remove trapped air and fill the damage. We use specialized tools to help resin reach the damaged areas within the glass.
3. Cure the resin. A professional UV curing light hardens the repair resin.
4. Finish the surface. For chip repairs, we fill the surface pit, cure it, and finish and polish the repaired area.

The goal is to stabilize repairable damage and make it less noticeable. A repair will not make your windshield look brand new, and a visible mark may remain. We’ll discuss those limitations before you decide to proceed.
